As we zero in on whether Florida State eventually joins an expanded Big Ten Conference in the constantly changing college football environment, we must ponder whether the Seminoles have a better option. Is FSU underpaid?
FSU UNDERPAID
One thing is certain, according to Trustee Chair Peter Collins, Florida State is woefully underpaid for its media rights revenue compared to its perceived value among other college football programs in and out of the ACC. All options are on the table for Florida State and its athletic future but we still think jumping to the Big Ten is their best and most likely option.

Elsewhere we were as surprised as anybody when Purdue center Zach Edey went 9th overall to the Memphis Grizzlies in the NBA draft. We were certain he would be a first rounder. But we didn’t think he’d be a top ten pick so congratulations to him!
Indiana big man Kel’el Ware went 15th to the Miami Heat and the talented Terrance Shannon Jr out of Illinois went 27th to the Minnesota Timberwolves. We think of the three Big Ten players drafted in the first round, Shannon is the most game-ready right now.
