Michigan President Tells Tony Petitti “Get Lost”; not Suspending

Big 10 Commissioner Tony Petitti asked Michigan President Santa Ono to suspend Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh two games for his alleged role in the SpyGate scouting scandal. Ono reportedly told Petitti to “get lost.” Meanwhile there seems to be mounting evidence that Ohio State Buckeyes coach Ryan Day may have been behind the SpyGate story leaking in the first place.

On the field, Michigan came out swinging against the Purdue Boilermakers Saturday night. And the Ohio State Buckeyes got a first half scare at Rutgers but re-grouped for the win.

Illinois’ backup quarterback saved the day and the game against the Minnesota Golden Gophers. The Penn State Nittany Lions defense put up some amazing numbers vs the slumping Maryland Terps. Kudo’s to Michigan State’s defense as well as they cooled off the red hot Nebraska Cornhuskers. The Indiana Hoosiers got their first conference win of the season against a depleted Wisconsin Badgers team. And Iowa did the most Iowa thing ever by beating Northwestern 10-7 at Wrigley Field.

We have reaction and analysis to all of these games and we have compiled our Big 10 Top 10 observations from the weekend around the Conference. Join us for Locked on Big 10 with Craig Shemon.
