EXPANSION: WILL FLORIDA STATE, CLEMSON CHOOSE BIG TEN OR SEC?
College football will flip upside down once the ACC blows up, and it WILL blow up! Then Florida State and Clemson, which are both trying to sue their way out of the ACC, will have to choose which conference to join. Since we love to talk Big Ten expansion, we strongly feel the only choices for them will be the Big Ten or SEC. So which conference will be a better fit for the schools? And vice versa. And we think North Carolina will be a wild card in all of this. We will discuss that very subject right here on Locked on Big Ten.
FOOTBALL FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS
Speaking of college football, Michigan State football now has three Friday night games on their schedule. Due to the new college football broadcast schedule on FOX and its marriage to Big Ten Football, Friday nights are the new Saturday! At least in Sparty’s case.
While discussing Michigan State, we feel like Tom Izzo is getting tired of college athletics and we wonder if this will be his last hoops season in East Lansing. He seems to think a lot of hoop coaches will step down soon. After all, it is already happening with college football coaches.
