What’s The Ohio State Buckeyes’ QB Plan After Kyle McCord?

What is Ryan Day and his Ohio State Buckeyes’ QB plan at quarterback following the departure of starter Kyle McCord? Day spent the entire 2023 preseason overseeing McCord and Devin Brown battle for the QB1 job. McCord eventually won, went 11-1, failed to secure a promise to be the starter for 2024 and bolted for Syracuse.

Is Day content to watch Brown and rising sophomore Lincoln Kienholz battle for the job this spring? Will promising recruit Air Noland impact the situation? Will the Buckeyes land anyone from the transfer portal? So far, that answer is no. But we will discuss all options on the table for a pivotal year for Day and his Buckeyes football team. We’ll keep an eye on the Buckeyes’ QB plan for next season.

Plus we look at the Michigan Wolverines quarterback JJ McCarthy. How injured was he during the final leg of the season? And is he ready to go for the Rose Bowl against Alabama?

Finally, we post our Big 10 Men’s basketball Power Rankings. All that and more is ahead on Locked on Big 10 with Craig Shemon.
