Rivalry week is here and the Ohio State Buckeyes and Michigan Wolverines enter their fierce matchup in Ann Arbor undefeated as both teams won this weekend. The Michigan football team, without suspended head coach Jim Harbaugh, got a bit of a scare from the Maryland Terps before notching the school’s 1000th win. Meanwhile, the Ohio State football team rested numerous players in the second half in their blowout win over the Minnesota Golden Gophers.
The winner of the Ohio State vs Michigan game will win the Big 10 East title and face the Iowa Hawkeyes in the Big 10 Championship. Kirk Ferentz and his Hawkeyes defeated Illinois to lock up the West.
And congrats the David Braun and the Northwestern Wildcats. Their victory over the Purdue Boilermakers made them bowl eligible following a one-win season last year and a hazing scandal this summer.
Also, Luke Fickell and his Wisconsin Badgers earned bowl eligibility by beating Nebraska in overtime Saturday night. Plus the Michigan State Spartans came from behind to beat the Indiana Hoosiers.
