Reasons Michigan Will Beat Alabama in Rose Bowl Playoff

A classic college football blue-blood battle will take place between the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Michigan Wolverines January 1st at the Rose Bowl playoff. The winner will face either the Texas Longhorns or the Washington Huskies in the National Championship. First of all, the Rose Bowl will feature two great coaches in Nick Saban and Jim Harbaugh. Michigan football has been steady and strong all season, while Alabama football has been a model of constant improvement behind quarterback Jalen Milroe. They game will come down to Michigan’s ability to contain Milroe and Michigan’s ability to take care of the football and grind out long, time-consuming, penalty free football drives. We are very excited about this Rose Bowl playoff game which should be an instant classic so we will start to take a closer look at this battle which is less than three weeks away.

In addition to more Big 10 transfer portal news we will shift to men’s basketball. Is Michigan basketball coach Juwan Howard getting fired? There are reports of an internal university investigation about a dust-up with his strength and conditioning coach. Stay tuned.

Plus, we release our first Big 10 Men’s Basketball Power Rankings just as the season starts to heat up.
