The Ohio State Buckeyes came up short by one score, in one game, on one late game drive from playing in the Big 10 Championship and likely earning a spot in the College Football Playoff with a chance at a National Championship. They will instead play in the Cotton Bowl.
Instead, the Buckeyes will watch their rival Michigan Wolverines go for a title. Meanwhile, Ryan Day and his Buckeyes prepare to face Missouri in the Cotton Bowl. Will they be motivated to play in that game? And who will play quarterback? Kyle McCord just announced he’s entering the transfer portal after a pretty good season in Columbus. Throwing an interception on the potential game-winning drive at Michigan will cost him his job. An 11-1 record doesn’t sit well with Buckeyes Nation when that “1” is against Michigan.
Speaking of the transfer portal, many players are entering and it could see a record number of names. Some interesting players form the Big 10 have already entered and we will look at that.
