Transfer Portal Quarterbacks Cost Millions of Dollars

College Football Transfer Portal Quarterbacks cost millions of dollars these days. Nebraska Huskers football coach Matt Rhule managed fans’ expectations by putting an actual number on it. He said it would cost 1-2 million dollars in ‘Name, Image and Likeness’ money to recruit a quarterback from the transfer portal. Last summer, Maryland quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa said an SEC school offered him $1.5 million dollars to transfer.

A record number of players, including some enticing quarterbacks, are hitting the transfer portal this week. In addition to playing time they are looking for lucrative endorsement money.
