The NCAA sanctions Michigan Football for its involvement in Burger-Gate when former head coach Jim Harbaugh met with recruits during an NCAA non-visit period during the Covid pandemic. Harbaugh reportedly bought the kids lunch at an Ann Arbor burger joint. All of this would have resulted in a minor NCAA violation but things became serious when the NCAA felt Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh was not truthful about the matter.
