Iowa football was the ultimate over-achiever last season. With an anemic offense and great defensive and special teams play, Kirk Ferentz and his Hawkeyes earned 10 wins and a trip to the Big Ten Championship. They amazed the college football world in 2023.

What about the Iowa football offense in 2024? Will their historically bad offense be better or worse than 2023? To be honest it looks like rinse and repeat again this season even though they have a new offensive coordinator in Tim Lester.

HAWKEYES HOPE?
However there is some hope because it looks like the defense will be really, really good despite the loss of Cooper DeJean to the NFL. That might be good enough to get some college football wins in the Big Ten.
