Penn State Loses Big Game
The Penn State Nittany Lions owned the line of scrimmage against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the first half of the Orange Bowl but Notre Dame turned the tables on James Franklin and Penn State in the second half. In the end a rare Drew Allar interception set up a game winning field goal by the Irish. Penn State loses another “Big Game” and Notre Dame advances to the college football national championship vs the winner of Friday’s Ohio State – Texas Cotton Bowl.
We will analyze what went wrong for Penn State and why they cannot win the big game under James Franklin. We will also look ahead to Ryan Day and his Buckeyes as they prepare for the Cotton Bowl.
We think the Texas Longhorns have a lot to worry about in Jeremiah Smith, Will Howard, Emeka Egbuka, TreVeyon Henderson and Quinshon Judkins.
