Caitlin Clark became the NCAA Women’s all-time scoring leader Thursday night with a career high 49 point performance in the Iowa Hawkeyes 106 – 89 home win over the Michigan Wolverines. Caitlin Clark entertained the Iowa Hawkeyes fans by tying a career high with 9 three pointers, including some deep bombs from the logo on the court. Clark also has 13 assists in the Hawkeyes win to record her 77th career double-double. She also added 5 rebounds and a steal for Iowa. Caitlin Clark is the best female scorer in NCAA history. But is she the greatest of all time? We will discuss and get your input.
And by the way, Clark is 99 points away from breaking Pistol Pete Maravich’s all-time men’s scoring mark as well.
We also discuss Ohio State and Michigan men’s basketball. We are used to seeing both programs at the top of the standings in football, but they are both at the bottom of the Big 10 in hoops. Ohio State fired coach Chris Holtmann this week. But athletic director Warde Manuel seems to be more patient with Juwan Howard at Michigan.
Finally, we get you ready for Big 10 hoops this weekend with our game predictions. It’s all right here on Locked on Big 10 with Craig Shemon.
