Zach Edey Unstoppable with 40; Purdue to Final Four

Zach Edey looked unstoppable as he scored a career high 40 points and the Purdue Boilermakers basketball team advanced to the Final Four for the first time since 1980 after defeating the Tennessee Vols Sunday.

Now coach Matt Painter and his Purdue basketball team will face 11 seed North Carolina State Saturday for the right to play in Monday’s national championship game. The Boilermakers have never won an NCAA title in hoops. Zach Edey hopes to change that by leading the Biolermakers to a national championship.

WOMEN ELITE 8
Meanwhile, in the women’s NCAA basketball tournament, Caitlin Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes basketball team face Angel Reese and the LSU Tigers with the winner advancing to the Final Four. Monday night’s game is a rematch of last year’s Women’s championship which LSU won handily. We explore whether there is some competitive friction between Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese.

FROZEN FOUR
Let’s not forget to offer congrats to the Michigan Wolverines hockey team as they beat Michigan State to earn a trip to the Frozen Four!
