Will Big 10 Commissioner Tony Petitti step in and punish coach Jim Harbaugh and his Michigan Wolverines football program for the SpyGate controversy? Or will he let the NCAA investigation of this matter run its course? As Commissioner, there are things Tony Petitti can and cannot do according the Big Ten bylaws. We will analyze his options and weigh the pros and cons. Bottom line, we don’t think anything will happen before this season is over and therefore the Michigan football team will continue its drive toward a Big Ten Championship, College Football Playoff appearance and a National Championship.
Other coaches are fairly tight-lipped about SpyGate and it makes us wonder how prevalent this practice is. Colorado football coach Deion Sanders gave his opinion on the matter with an interesting spin. We will let you know what he said.
Basketball exhibition games
Plus, there is Big 10 basketball this weekend as both the Michigan State Spartans and the Illinois Fighting Illini have respective exhibition games Sunday to help raise money for wildfire victims in Maui, home of the Maui Classic.
