USC vs LSU: The Sunday night college football opener between the USC Trojans football team and the LSU Tigers may be the most important game on their respective schedules. Both USC and LSU will be good enough to be in contention for one of the expanded 12 team college football playoff spots. And the winner of the USC vs LSU game will have a leg up on the other should a final spot come down to the two teams.
BUT CAN USC AND LSU PLAY DEFENSE?
Both USC and LSU can score and last season neither team could stop anybody with their defenses. That is going to have to change. Especially if Big Ten newcomer USC wants to hang with the elite in its new conference.
