If the USC Trojans football team is going to make a run during its inaugural Big Ten football season it is going to have to play some defense. Outscoring teams 42-32 is fun and exciting in the Pac-12 but that style is not going to work in the Big Ten.
Lincoln Riley changed defensive coordinators and brought in some new talent, especially in the secondary. That should compliment quarterback Miller Moss and the offense in their attempt to win some games.
