UCLA and USC Arrive Next Year. Will They Survive the Big 10?

The UCLA Bruins and the Southern Cal Trojans will be preparing to invade the Big 10 this time next year. Presently, Bruins coach Chip Kelly and Trojans coach Lincoln Riley have their teams playing at a very high level. In fact, USC has high expectations this year that might include a national championship run and a Heisman Trophy for quarterback Caleb Williams as a Pac 12 swansong. In addition to a bigger travel budget, UCLA and USC won’t have their watered-down Pac 12 schedule anymore. Now they’ll have to face perennial heavyweights like the University of Michigan, The Ohio State University, Penn State University, University of Wisconsin, University of Iowa… you get the picture. Why would they want to do this? Money. Their respective athletic departments will garner many more millions of dollars with this move. How will they fare once they join the Big 10? We will analyze all of this and list quarterbacks in our Big 10 Power Rankings.
