Oregon Ducks Football Best in Big Ten and the Nation?

Following seven lead changes and a huge mistake by Ohio State veteran quarterback Will Howard, Oregon football is on top of the college football world (not quite with #1 ranked Texas in the way) following Saturday night’s win over the Buckeyes. But the win was as big as it gets for Dan Lanning and his Ducks program which now has a leg up on a spot in the Big Ten Championship game and probably a run at a national championship. But are the Oregon Ducks football best in Big Ten?

Meanwhile two Big Ten football games went to overtime including the Penn State Nittany Lions as James Franklin and his team got a big win on the road in overtime. Does Penn State fan consider this a big win?

Meanwhile the Illinois Fighting Illini won an overtime shootout vs the Purdue Boilermakers.

Iowa hit the 40 point mark in a win over Washington. And the Wisconsin Badgers seem to be clicking after a win over Rutgers.

Plus, let is not forget Friday night’s tilt where Northwestern surprised a turnover prone Maryland Terps team.

And with a long list to consider we post our Top Ten Big Ten observations of the weekend on Locked on Big Ten with Craig Shemon.
