Northwestern Fired Fitzgerald Amid Hazing Scandal

Northwestern University fired football coach Pat Fitzgerald in light of hazing accusations brought forth by an anonymous former player. What’s next for the Wildcats? Coaching Northwestern Football is one of the toughest jobs in America. Yet, while at Northwestern, Fitzgerald had three 10-win seasons, two 9-win seasons and had the Northwestern Wildcats playing in the Big 10 Championship as recently as 2020. However, this team is coming off a 1-win season last year and has won just 4 games combined in the past two seasons. With their head coach gone and Big 10 Football Media Days in Indianapolis later this month, the situation can’t get much worse. Plus, we close things out with a review of Tuesday Tweets! Join Craig Shemon on Locked on Big 10 as he analyzes the Wildcats situation and predicts who the next Northwestern coach will be. Tomorrow we’ll be previewing the Indiana Hoosiers and coach Tom Allen.
