The Ohio State Buckeyes vs Maryland Terps: The Maryland Terps were the better team in the first half vs. the Buckeyes at Ohio State Saturday. However, Ryan Day and his quarterback Kyle McCord led the Buckeyes to 27 unanswered points to remain undefeated in the Big 10 race.
For the Maryland Terps, quarterback Taulia Tagovailoa made several critical mistakes in this game which allowed the Buckeyes to climb back in the game.
With the Terps up 10-0 in the second quarter, he threw a pick-6 which got the home crowd fired up. In the waning seconds of the half, Tagovailoa completed a pass in the middle of the field, inside the redzone, without any timeouts left. The Terps never got off a field goal attempt. Midway threw the third, Tagovailoa threw another interception that was returned to the 38 yard line.
By now, Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback Kyle McCord and the offense woke up. McCord finished with 320 yards and 2 touchdown passes and Marvin Harrison Jr. caught 8 passes for 163 yards and a touchdown. Soon, it was game over.
