Penn State Close Call: James Franklin and his Penn State Nittany Lions football team had all they could handle from Tom Allen and his Indiana Hoosiers football team Saturday! Whether it was the Hoosiers tough defensive front seven, or the Nittany Lions suffering from a hangover after last week’s disappointing loss at Ohio State, this game was tied 24-24 with two minutes remaining. Quarterback Drew Allar threw his first interception this season but led his team to their game winning score.
Speaking of the Ohio State Buckeyes, Ryan Day leads his squad into Camp Randall to face the Wisconsin Badgers on a chilly Saturday night.
Kudos to the Northwestern Wildcats as interim head coach David Braun has his team at 4-4 with a win over a slumping Maryland Terps football team. The Terps started 5-0 but Mike Locksley and his squad have lost three straight with a date vs Penn State next week!
The Minnesota Golden Gophers and the Michigan State Spartans labored through a cold day as did the ebraska Cornhuskers and Purdue Boilermakers. We have live reaction to the Penn State close call plus our first look ahead to next week. It’s all on Locked on Big 10 LIVE with Craig Shemon.
