Jim Harbaugh Suspended 3 Games by Big 10 Commissioner

Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh suspended for the rest of the regular season for the school’s alleged involvement in an on-site scouting signal-stealing scandal. Big Ten commissioner Tony Petitti says the suspension is for breaking the conference’s sportsmanship clause. Harbaugh will be able to continue coaching the team except on game days. The three games Harbaugh will miss will be Saturday’s game vs the Penn State Nittany Lions, next week’s game vs the Maryland Terps, and the season finale vs Ohio State.

The NCAA investigation into this same matter has barely just begun and Michigan is accusing the Big Ten of a rush to judgement without due process. Harbaugh and the school have asked a judge for a restraining order which would allow Harbaugh to return to the sidelines.

Stay tuned.
