Did new Ohio State Buckeyes Offensive Coordinator Chip Kelly force Running Backs Coach Tony Alford out of town? And was Head Coach Ryan Day ok with it? Alford had been in Columbus since 2015 under Urban Meyer. He was a strong fixture on the Ohio State football staff and a great recruiter. And all of a sudden, he left the program during spring football to take the same job with arch rival Michigan! What are we missing here?? Speaking of lateral moves, Nebraska Athletic Director Trev Alberts is leaving Lincoln to take the same position at Texas A&M. Why? That’s strange. He just signed a multimillion dollar extension at Nebraska through 2031.
