Caitlin Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes jumped to an early lead but the South Carolina Gamecocks eclipsed the Hawkeyes title hopes with an 87-75 win to cap off an undefeated season. The Gamecocks got revenge on the Iowa Hawkeyes who ended their season least year in the Final Four.
LEGACY
Clark scored 30 points in the last game of her career where she leaves college basketball as the sport’s all-time leading scorer without a championship ring. Many will debate her legacy as the greatest ever. But she did elevate the sport of women’s basketball to a new level because of the record breaking TV ratings that occurred when she played. In our humble opinion she is the greatest we’ve ever seen at Locked on Big 10!

Meanwhile tonight the Purdue Boilermakers have their eyes set on their first Men’s NCAA College Basketball Championship as they play the defending national champion UConn Huskies. Matt Painter and Zack Edey, along with UConn big man Donovan Clingan have been the best two teams all season and it is fitting they play for the title tonight.
