Buckeyes beat the Badgers; Penn State avoids scare by Hoosiers

This weekend the Ohio State Buckeyes beat the Badgers and survived a turnover-proned first half for a victory at Camp Randall. Having a great receiver like Marvin Harrison Jr. also helps. Ryan Day and his Buckeyes football team seems to be getting better each week.

The Penn State Nittany Lions survived a Halloween scare from Tom Allen and his Indiana Hoosiers. This game was tied 24-24 with under two minutes to go. But a 57 yard touchdown pass from Drew Allar saved the day. It was just the second offensive play over 40 yards for the Nittany Lions all season.

Has anybody noticed the Nebraska Cornhuskers have won 5 of their last 6 games after a 0-2 start? One more win and the Huskers go bowling for the first time in seven years.

Kudos to the Northwestern Wildcats! Despite a one-win season last year, a hazing scandal and a coaching change right before summer camp, the Wildcats are 4-4!

And, by the way, what is wrong with the Maryland Terps?? The started 5-0 but have lost 3 straight and the have Penn State next! Yikes!

Finally, we unveil our Top 10 observations from around the Big 10 this weekend.
