Brutally Honest Assessment of Buckeyes QB Situation

Following the Ohio State football spring game here is a brutally honest assessment of the Buckeyes QB situation. Ryan Day and Chip Kelly have high hopes for the 2024 college football season and their team is loaded. However, Ohio State football will only go as far as their quarterback room will take them. The Buckeyes have 5 scholarship quarterbacks on the roster and frankly, none of them jumped out and impressed anybody Saturday. What does this mean for the upcoming college football season? We will have our surprise pick for this year’s starter for the Buckeyes QB if the season were to start today.

And speaking of college football, specifically Michigan football, the Wolverines suffered another important staff loss. New head coach Sherrone Moore is still attempting to figure out who’s remaining and who’s leaving his staff following Jim Harbaugh’s departure to the NFL. Plus, the Iowa football quarterback situation seems to be on thin ice while the team is waiting for starter Cade McNamara to heal from last year’s knee injury.

And since we mentioned Iowa, Iowa basketball star Caitlin Clark was the first pick of the WNBA draft Monday night and she goes to the Indiana Fever as expected.
