Bill O’Brien Leaving Buckeyes for Boston College Job?

New Ohio State Buckeyes offensive coordinator Bill O’Brien just arrived in Columbus, Ohio to take over Ryan Day’s offense and his young but talented quarterback room. However, would the Boston native turn around and take the new head coach opening at Boston College? The gig opened Wednesday when Eagles head coach Jeff Hafley just left to take the Green Bay Packers defensive coordinator job. This puts Boston College in a jam with recruit signing day this week and spring football around the corner. Not to mention, the headache this would give Ryan Day after he just handed Bill O’Brien the keys to the Buckeyes offense.

With practice for the Senior Bowl taking place this week, we learned that Michigan and Ohio State football players actually get along. Weird, right?

One major sports network has Iowa football coach Kirk Ferentz on “Retirement Watch.” Ridiculous?

And UCLA’s Chip Kelly might not be around for the Bruins Big 10 debut. Why? We will look into it.

We also get ready for the weekend with our basketball picks for the next few days. It’s all right here on Locked on Big 10 with Craig Shemon.
