What is Jim Harbaugh’s next move if Michigan rescinds his contract? The University of Michigan may have rescinded a lucrative contract extension offered to Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh following an NCAA investigation into an alleged opponent sign stealing operation. The contract reportedly would have made Harbaugh the highest paid coach in the Big 10. For reference, that means it would have been north of 10 million dollars a year.
So what’s next if Michigan rescinds his contract? A firing? A resignation? Both sides quietly separate the day after the season ends? We will look into all of that on Locked on Big 10.
