Indiana football dodged a close call at the Big House when Josh Hoover ran for a 4 yard touchdown in OVERTIME to beat Michigan 13-6! Nobody scored a touchdown in regulation and Josh Hoover never completed a pass in the second half of regulation but Indiana’s defense was good enough to spoil the starting debut for Michigan’s true freshman quarterback Tommy Carr. What a crazy way to start another exciting college football weekend of Big Ten action!
Elsewhere around the Big Ten Northwestern improved to 6-1 with a big 42-14 win over Rutgers. Aiden Chiles threw 3 touchdown passes and ran for 2 more.
Oregon is geared up for a tough game at Illinois with Dylan Raiola at the helm while quarterback Dante Moore continues to recover from a concussion. UCLA looks to remain undefeated as they host Michigan State at the Rose Bowl. And Iowa and Minnesota battle for the Floyd of Rosedale Trophy.
