For the first time in years, Michigan faces no scandals, suspensions or investigations. New Michigan football coach Kyle Whittingham has Bryce Underwood and the Wolverines ready to tackle the 2026 college football season which kicks off Saturday night at the Big House vs Western Michigan. Unlike previous years under Jim Harbaugh and Sherrone Moore there are no preseason drama, investigations or suspensions looming. It’s all about football in Ann Arbor and it has to be a nice change of pace.
Meanwhile the opposite is true at UCLA where they just fired their athletic director Martin Jarmond on the eve of first year UCLA football coach Bob Chesney’s debut. The timing is strange but we have the inside scoop as to what happened.
